June 4-10 • Omaha, Nebraska

Attend training amid thousands of acres of corn rows—on every roadside for miles and miles and miles. This is agricultural America. Flying into Omaha, NE, Airport, you’ll be picked up and transferred to a local hotel. Relax for a few hours until we meet for the Welcome  Reception and Orientation on site at the hotel.

On Sunday morning we will join the RFKC camp staff in their Commissioning Service, followed by an afternoon of training at the church. We then drive to Covenant Cedars, situated in the rolling countryside, nestled in the cedars along the Platte River, where we’ll be the remainder of the week.

Accommodations are double bed shared rooms with restrooms and shower down the hall. So bring a robe and shower shoes. Friday’s Welcome Home Dinner will follow back at the church in Omaha.  Departure from the church for the airport will be at approx. 6 P.M.

June 18-24 • Bellingham, Washington

This Northwestern training site is an hour south of Vancouver, British Columbia and 1 1/2 hours north of Seattle.

Training is held at The Firs, a conference center situated in a 30 acre grove of Douglas Fir, overlooking Lake Whatcom. Breezes sweeping across Puget Sound “sing” through the stately evergreens at this training site.

Following your arrival at Bellingham’s Municipal Airport, you’ll go to a local hotel. Relax for a few hours until we depart for the Welcome Reception and Orientation. On Sunday we transfer to The Firs where we will be for the rest of the week. Lodging is in a recently remodeled guest house and a few small cabins. All are carpeted and offer shared baths.

Sunday morning we will take a short, 10 minute drive to the Host Camp Church to be a part of their RFKC Commissioning service, and classroom training all afternoon. On Friday, at the close of the week, we go back to the Church to participate in the Camp’s Welcome Home Dinner, departing for the airport after 6 P.M.

July 16-22 • Madison, Alabama

When the staff at Asbury United Methodist Church in Madison, Alabama couldn't find a retreat center to hold its Royal Family Kids' Camps, they became creative and discovered the great facilities at the University of North Alabama. Their Camp Director now says she could not imagine having camp anywhere else!

If you would like to see how camp is run successfully on a university campus, consider attending training at the University in Florence, Alabama.

After you arrive at the Huntsville International Airport, you'll be taken to a hotel where the Welcome Reception and Orientation are held. On Sunday morning we'll observe the Host Camp's Commissioning service and an afternoon of training. Then, when you arrive at the University Sunday evening, you will be amazed to witness what can be done in a "non-traditional" camp setting! But don't think that just because it's on a college campus, the children don't have a great time! You will see how the typical RFKC "royal treatment" is bestowed upon each child as they experience activities throughout the campus and establish HOPE of a college education someday!

Accommodations are in dorm rooms with air conditioning and showers/restrooms "down the hall." Bring a robe and shower "flip-flops."

For those interested in doing some sight-seeing before or after training, visit local areas that boast of "antebellum and anti-gravity." The area is rich in Civil War history, the U.S. Space and Rocket Center is in Huntsville, and Ivy Green, the birthplace and home of Helen Keller, are also nearby.

July 23-29 • Kearney, Nebraska

This is a “drive to” site. If choosing this site, you must plan your own transportation to the hotel in Kearney, NE. We will not be picking up individuals at local airports.

We meet together on Saturday for a Welcome Reception and Orientation in the geographical center and heart of America—Kearney, NE.

On Sunday, we will attend commissioning service of the host RFKC staff at the New Life Assembly of God Church. Following Sunday afternoon training, we will travel along the North Platte River, where we will spend the rest of the week in training along the river banks at Maranatha Bible Camp.

Maranatha Bible Camp offers a beautiful training ground in the Midwest. The center sits on 300 acres of cedar trees and trails offering a magnificent setting for watching wildlife.
