Annual Review
They come to us broken. Battered. Bruised. Often, the outward abuse — while substantial — cannot touch the damage to their shattered hearts and spirits. It is for these abused, abandoned and neglected children of the world that Royal Family Kids’ Camps exists. It is our goal to make a lasting difference in the young lives of children, ages 7-11, by giving them a week filled with fun, love, attention and care. In 2007 ... • more than 6,000 children built memories to last a lifetime at one of our camps. • 36 states hosted our camps, and 16 camps were held internationally. • 6,100 volunteers gave of their time and talent to show unconditional love and support to “our kids.” • Our Social Capital (which is a calculated value used by the U.S. government to determine the worth of volunteers’ time for grant purposes) totaled $17,174,550.
